Ok I’m on testing branch and successfully removed the 440 prime drivers but can not install the new 450 drivers. If I try and use the GUI it just stays on starting and wont move and if I do it from the cli nothing happens
$ sudo mhwd --install pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-450xx-prime
Dependencies to install: video-modesetting
Proceed with installation? [Y/n]
y
It just stops there so atm the moment I have no drivers installed and really don’t want to reboot
EDIT changed the command to
sudo mhwd -i pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-450xx-prime
and seems to be working now but for some reason the manjaro gui just wont go past “starting” and will not ask for root permissions
