I looked in AUR, and it was in there, but is no longer listed-I thought it was a short time ago, but might be mistaken. I searched and tried various things from the forum. I went to the Brother Driver page, only Deb & RPM. Downloads | HL-L2340DW | United States | Brother
I downloaded the .deb file and followed this post with debtap: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/how-to-install-deb/34452-- got the file, tried to install, but says bad file.
I then tried this post https://forum.manjaro.org/t/printer-install-simple-and-successful-brother-hl-3170cdw-network-printer/104477-- No Luck. Attached with USB-- also is wireless.
How can I make or where can I get the drivers for my Brother HL-L2340CD printer? Any other ideas on how I can get it to work? Been working at this several days now.
KDE- Stable.
What’s it?
❯ pamac search --aur 2340
brother-hll2340dw 3.2.0_1-1 AUR
LPR and CUPS driver for HLL2340D model.
brother-hll2340d 3.2.0_1-5 AUR
Brother HL-L2340D CUPS driver
That’s not recommended and should only be used as a last resort.

Yes, not exactly your 2340CD, but you should try it.
Good luck !
THANK YOU. I am not used to command line, I was using the Add-Remove Software. I added the AUR, and found lots of brother entries, but no matter how I put it in, I couldn’t find it. I put in what you sent and found it right away. I knew I saw it in there before. I installed it and got it set up.
Again Thank You
