Can't find or connect to 5 GHz wifi

I can’t connect to my 5 GHz wifi. It does not even show up in the list of available networks.

If I change it to 2.4 GHz there is no problem, but I prefer 5 GHz.

My other devices have no trouble connecting to the 5 GHz wifi, only this Linux laptop.

How can I try to fix this?

Get a new Laptop or a new Wifi Adapter for your old Laptop.

This device can’t use 5 GHz. It is just capable of connecting to a 2.4 GHz Network.

Please look at mine I have hardware which can detect the 5 Ghz ssid but am not able to

Thank you in advance @Luviex

Please create a new topic if you have a problem with your hardware. It is not similar to the hardware from the OP.

These cheap Adapters are never dual band Wifi adapters. Why do you believe it is a 5GHz capable adapter?
