7.0 may be EOL but 7.1 won’t connect via network manger and is therefore unusable
had no problems with 7.1.2-1 for a week. may be there is other reason of the issue

No idea 7.0 connects but 7.1 does not
Found it I use modulejail and clearly it is built against the running kernel re building modjail.conf
makes it work. Its not quite this build it against 7.1, 7.0 & 6.18 still work but build it against 7.0 only 6.18 works. So I guess all kernels under the one you build it against work.
