The tray icon says “This device appears to be connected to a network but is unable to reach the internet.”
I just want to add to some of the post.
I had a hard time to figure out why none of these above doesn’t work for me.
It turns out it’s my router that running the VPN, and unexpectedly get shut down by a sudden power failure. Looks like it didn’t restore some settings on my router. So when I turn on the router again, It still think it’s running a VPN but it wasn’t.
So try to disable (and re-enable the VPN on your router).
Some software like those from IDEA, somehow requires communication to the Internet to be able to load the solution when you “have” net connection. It would stuck on “loading projects” / “loading solution” forever if no respond received.
(The VPN is also set on my computer and Android phone for maximum flexibility, the one on the router is set to “direct” mode when I didn’t need to have all my devices to access VPN. It was on “direct” mode when the power failure arrived)
