I love the speed of Manjaro with Xfce.
Everything is working great except the printer.
I’ve installed CUPS and manjaro-printer.
I’ve seen and selected Canon as my printer. With the long list I’ve selected Pixma G2000.
My printer is Canon Pixma G2010. It installed with no problems but when sending a test print nothing happens but is in the queue.
I’m having to do a lot of printing so I’m using using win10 at the moment just for that. From memory the printer connection said lp0.
Is there a way to check which USB the printer is connected to, to check for the correct settings?
In the past the brother printers have worked well with Linux, but I needed the Pixma.
I rebooted into Manjaro.
Deleted the printer. Used localhost in the browser first, then installed the canon pixma g2000 driver and a test print worked.
