Cannot start linux_wifi_hotspot after update

After updating system today, not able to use linux-wifi-hotspot.
Whenever I try to create connection, this happens:

venom $~ sudo create_ap wlo1 lo MyAccessPoint 12345678
WARN: Your adapter does not fully support AP virtual interface, enabling --no-virt
Config dir: /tmp/create_ap.wlo1.conf.XqDEUVbn
PID: 57784
Network Manager found, set wlo1 as unmanaged device... DONE
Sharing Internet using method: nat
Warning: Extension MASQUERADE revision 0 not supported, missing kernel module?
iptables v1.8.8 (legacy): can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

Doing cleanup.. done

is the module loaded?

AFAIK, iptables is succeeded by nftables - but should still work.

But if the module version does not match the kernel version for which it was built … it won’t work, can’t even be loaded.

I guess you are using some AUR package?
In that case it needs to be rebuilt.

lol i hadn’t even noticed that part yet, because of the command he used at first line… :+1:

I am using linux-wifi-hotspot for creating hotspot.

You didn’t answer the question - but it is probably not about that module per se
but
this is a AUR package
This means you might have to re-build it after as system update.
