Cannot remove linux614

I’m using 6.16.0rc1-3, and also have 6.15.2-2 and 6.12.33-1 installed.

Given 6.14 is EOL I decided to remove it. Manjaro-Settings-Manager reports:

linux614

checking dependencies...
:: removing linux614 breaks dependency 'linux614' required by linux-meta

Done ...

What next? :thinking:

Remove linux-meta and any other -meta packages that get in the way.

I normally wait to update the linux-meta packages with the next kernel updates after a kernel has gone EOL. For example, 6.14.11 is fine right now as it just received the last update. There’s no reason to manually immediately remove it, but you can if you wish. I still have it installed along with 6.15 & 6.12.

Thank you both. I didn’t know if there were any potential repercussions to removing linux-meta which is why I thought I’d better ask first.
