Every time I go to try to install the video-nvidia-450xx video drivers I get a failed message and not many other details. Is there another way I can update my video controller?
i had to remove linux-latest-nvidia-440xx first
I had it same issues. I found solution
Well I removed the 440xx using sudo pacman -R linux-latest-nvidia-440xx and I installed 450xx.
But now I have both of 440xx and 450xx installed.
Well normally standard procedure is to uninstall the old driver first and then install the new driver.
To make sure no conflicts happen you will need to uninstall both and then reinstall the 450xx driver.
