Cannot detect ssd which has windows installed on it

Hey. I installed manjaro a few months ago on an external ssd I bought to try it out and possibly make it my main os. I now want to erase the drive which had windows on it and possibly transfer the root folder into it if possible however the os cannot detect it.

My pc has an internal ssd which I believe is 256gbs which holds the windows os, a 1tb hard drive which manjaro detects perfectly fine and can utilize, and a 477gb external ssd which I have manjaro installed on.

I have tried to fix it by disabling fastboot, and some other stuff I tried searching too many other forum posts but no luck, am I doing something wrong?

Is the internal drive set to AHCI in the UEFI firmware settings? And is RAID disabled?

On device setup it lists the drive as non-raid, on the bios there is a tab “SATA operation” which lists the options “Disabled” “” AHCI" and “RAID on” with the last one selected but I think this is just on if it supports it or not.

You must explicitly set it to AHCI.

That worked, thanks. Sorry for the reply I deleted a moment ago. I read your reply wrong initially.
