Thanks for all the help, I really didn’t expect that many helpful replies, especially considering that it is not really even a Manjaro-specific problem :slight_smile:

I bought another USB stick, and it all worked fine - I managed to fix my manjaro installation.

I am still not sure what the exact problem was here, but I was told that the USB drive I tried to use wasn’t working with that t460s even before I borked the installation. Not sure what exactly causes this problem (as all ports on the laptop work fine, and the USB stick works fine with other laptops, it’s just a combo of this exact laptop with this exact USB stick that does not work for some reason), but it is solved now, thanks again!

I have removed your marked Solution as using another USB was already suggested earlier in the thread.

The expected procedure is this instance would have been to acknowledge the previously made suggestion (by marking that post as the Solution) and summarise any steps taken (as you did), rather than mark your own post.
