System is still using legacy driver snd_hda_intel that does not support internal digital microphones
Try this to force legacy driver and disable internal microphones
echo 'options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1' | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-legacy.conf > /dev/null
The headset might have an incompatible jack connection and require an adaptor.
