Even with steam input, my obsidian 2 will not register the circle button being pressed and a few other buttons, i have tried so many work around and so far i have had no luck at all. my ps5 controller works fine i tried a hitbox as well and no anvil.

Moreover, what did you try already? I don’t own a Qanba Obsidian 2 but it seems to come with different operation modes like PC or PS4 is this right? If so did you try all the modes already?
Yes, when i switched it to pc mode it changes the buttons that don’t work its strange

- What exactly have you tried? Some may suggest things you have already tried, but didn’t work. This wastes time, and frankly is an annoyance, when all you had to do was explain what you’ve done from the beginning.

I’m a friend of hers, so I will supply some information since she’s been busy.
- She did a bad job explaining, but a Qanba Obsidian 2 and what she called a “hitbox” are both game controllers. Both of them have the capability to emulate other kinds of controllers, like Xbox and Nintendo Switch controllers, and she tried changing the kind of controller emulated.
- I had her try loading the kernel modules for xbox and playstation controllers with
sudo modprobe hid-playstationandsudo modprobe xpadand verified they were loaded withlsmod. We also made sure the drivers were installed withsudo pacman -Syu joystick. I think she also tried turning off steam input and looking around in the KDE Plasma settings for controller related stuff.
Her problem is that some buttons don’t work where the hardware does and it’s the same buttons (PlayStation X button for example) across multiple controllers except her PS5 controller works fine.
