Can Kate choose columns (that is, use multi cursors)?

For example, if I want to choose the first 3 columns, on VS code I can use Alt+Left click and drag on TexStudio I can use Ctrl+Left click and drag, but how can I do that on Kate?

In Kate you can use the Block Selection Mode from the Edit menu item.

The default key binding to toggle this mode on/off is Ctrl+Shift+b.
