Can a hidden Submenu in KDE Menu Editor be unhidden?

I discovered that creating a “Submenu” KDE Menu Editor with a name beginning with a dot makes it hidden, which is cool. However, when I later tried to unhide that Submenu, I found I can’t do it. I can’t rename the Submenu “.Unknown” to “Unknown”, nor can I unhide it, nor can I delete it; those controls are now all greyed out. But surely there must be a way to do that? Do the “Submenus” in KDE Menu Editor correspond to actual files or directories somewhere? If so, where?

Might need to get your hands dirty with the stored menu hierarchy as a file. Read section 1.1.3 of its documentation to find where the file is, edit using a text editor carefully. Possibly restart plasma afterwards.
