Bug with the autoscreen rotation on Wayland?

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a bug with the autoscreen rotation under Wayland with the last Manjaro Gnome version. I did not test under xorg since I am using Wayland by default.

I launched the ‘monitor-sensor’ command and the accelerometer responds on the terminal. I guess there is a regression with the support of the autoscreen rotation under Wayland because when I flip the screen on the gnome desktop, nothing happens ?

Have you got news about this problem ?

Thanks.

!!! News !!!: This a regression. :frowning:

Look this: [Regression] Screen rotation broken on GNOME Wayland (#1686) · Issues · GNOME / mutter · GitLab

The bug seems to be fixed: Reenable touch-mode on touchscreen devices with pointers. (!1846) · Merge requests · GNOME / mutter · GitLab

Now, we have to wait a new version of Mutter.

It seems to be solved with Gnome 41. I decided to switch to KDE plasma with Wayland to see if my hardware will have a better support. Kde plasma have more options than Gnome.
