Brave login session resetting after closing

I have noticed since the updates around 24.3.25 that the Brave Browser login Session is gone after closing Brave.
Even if “Delete browsing data / on exit” is not set.

I tested it with brave-browser-beta and on a fresh installed brave-browser

Also a thought brave-browser-beta should be ahead:

❯ sudo pacman -Sy ;yy brave-browser

And being confused that on the branch compare Page there are different versions as my mirror say’s:

There is a confirm fix on Version 1.78.72

If the branch-compare page is different from your mirror - then your mirror may not be up-to-date. In such case you should rerun pacman-mirrors

sudo pacman-mirrors --continent

Using the mbn tool from manjaro-check-repos I get the same result as branch compare web.

Thank you, I got the update today without.
sudo pacman-mirrors --continent

So in future to get the updated mirror right away I need to run

sudo pacman-mirrors --continent

instead of:

sudo pacman -Sy gnupg archlinux-keyring manjaro-keyring
    sudo pacman-key --init
    sudo pacman -Syy
    sudo pacman-key --populate --populate archlinux manjaro
    sudo pacman-key -u --refresh-keys &&
        sudo pacman-mirrors -a -P https --fasttrack 22 &&
        sudo pacman -Syyu --disable-download-timeout

Also, I realize manjaro-check-repos is not on my System.

Problem solve on:

brave-browser-beta 1.78.72-1

i have the same problem. Just started with last update. I tried this version and i still have the issue. If i log into say youtube… close brave, then reopen it, it gives me an error that it could not log in. and i have to log in again. I tried the beta with same issue. Man i really dont want to abandon brave and go back to chrome.

edit:

moved to firefox with pwa plugin… I prefer brave, but until this is fixed, i cannot use it. it also happened in google chrome. with brand new profile and no extensions… so i am guessing a chromium bug at this point.
