I have a frustrating problem with these 3 browsers. I can log into google accounts, twitter, etc. But if i close the browser, next time i go in the logins are logged out and invalid. I have triple checked i am not deleting cookies when shutting down. I have tried new profiles, nuked the configs and the cache dir of each of these and i can reproduce it almost every time. The only common thing is the password manager either has one entry or none. I tried without even connecting sync and still happens… It started last week. I have rolled back my system to last thurs and still the same issues. The only thing i can think of at this time is some bug introduced upstream that somehow got missed. I moved to firefox, but it has its own issues. I would much prefer Brave. One a side note, brave has no such issues on macOS with brave or firefox on manjaro. I think i can rule out something weird with my google account./
I am using chromium, and I sometimes experience the same thing, but only after I’ve manually deleted my history, which is also set up to not delete cookies and automatic logins. If I don’t delete the history, there is no problem.
In addition to the above, it may sometimes still happen when Google changes something to their internal software structure, e.g. on YouTube, where it will then forget my playback settings after logging in again.
