Brave browser has no icon and can't be reinstalled

For some reason, brave browser displays no icon on Manjaro start menu. Any ideas?

Trying to reinstall fails:

$ pamac install brave
Preparing...
Synchronizing package databases...
Warning: brave-browser-beta-1.33.80-1 is up to date -- skipping
Nothing to do.
Transaction successfully finished.

$ pamac reinstall brave
Error: target not found: brave

The package which you want to reinstall is not brave, it’s brave-browser-beta

Still the issue is not fixed. Not icon after reinstall still.

Maybe they have finally become secure enough to block themselves. :sweat_smile:

Can you try to change this icon in KDE Menu Editor?

@Zesko yes, changing the icon from kmenuedit does work, but I have to reboot the computer, changes are not displayed immediately on start menu. Also, there isn’t the brave icon available, I just use a regular internet icon.

Just uninstalled brave-browser-betaand installed brave-beta-bin 1.33.85-1, it has the icon now.
