Bought a Star Lite MK3 - What a mess

  • Can’t connect to the internet
    Every time I entered in the password, the window would pop back up again. Yes, it was the correct password. Tried to re-install KDE with an updated version. While it was booting, it kept resizing the screen-width and I could barely click the buttons.

  • Can’t recharge
    The DC power plug is pushed all the way in and the power switch is on.
    Apparently it’s not charging because the installer says there’s no power connected and the battery icon doesn’t change. It just shows it’s percentage.

Tried to install GNOME instead. Same problems.

I’m taking the laptop back to DHL couriers within the week, but do you think it’s still salvageable?
