Much like the last update, I’m still having issues with booting to a black screen on kernels 6.12.12-2 and 6.13.1-2. Had to revert to kernel version 6.6.75-2
I’m using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 with version 550.144.03 proprietary driver.
If you need further system information or logs, please let me know.

My first thought is that it could be to do with the age of your hardware. The GeForce GTX 970 was released in September, 2014, and the Intel Core i7-6700K shown in your user profile was released in Q3, 2015, with servicing updates ending in September, 2022 (that could affect microcode updates).
Sometimes old equipment runs better on older kernels.
However, as I am not an expert in graphics & have zero experience with Nvidia GPUs, system information might be helpful to others here who wish to help.
Please post the output, properly formatted (three backticks ``` before and after the pasted text), of:
inxi -zv8
The same for me with i7-4790 and GT-720. Funny if I use gestures (mouse un upper left corner, search programs and run) it’s o.k. It seem a Plasma problem.
Just getting around to this now. Will post comment and output in the 3-18-2025 stable update post since it is the same problem.
