Boot-Up Messages after pressing ESC

Some time ago if you press ESC during boot (Manjaro-Splash-Screen) you could see what the PC currently do during boot-process.

That don’t work anymore.
How can I got this functionality back?

But it does.
Not literally at the Grub screen (where you can select the kernel), but directly after.

Not for me. Pressing it all the time, nothing happend.

The only thing that comes to my mind right now is:
your ESC key is broken

It’s work like a charm.

Your best bet is to edit /etc/default/grub and remove “quiet” and “splash” from the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= line, then update GRUB and reboot.

For a temporary test, you can press e on the GRUB screen, then remove those options, which will take effect for that boot only.
