I was facing problem with light dm and I changed display manager to sddm for instance but the problem I’ve been facing since morning and I got stuck .
sda 2:0:0:0: [sda] Assuming drive cache : write through
Help is appreciated and it is kali linux hosted in vmware
So, not Manjaro?
Try fsck
to check that filesystem, anyway. Or smartctl
.
But personally, I think the drive’s either gone, or very close to it.
It’s not manjaro
What should I do next?display-manager does not start at first time when boot maybe and dont know how to resolve
Enable the display manager service:
systemctl enable lightdm.service #or sddm.service
Or better if you ask here:
This is a completely normal message
I see it every time I plug in an external drive.
If you changed display managers
make sure you disable the one you don’t want to use
and enable the one you do want to use
don’t have two enabled at the same time …
