Bluetooth turning off after wakeup

I noticed that sometimes after wakeup from sleep, the bluetooth turns off and can’t turn it back on until I completely shut down the laptop and turn it on again (restart doesn’t work). I trying running the command

systemctl restart bluetooth

but it doesn’t do anything. the GUI is unresponsive as well.

That’s not the full inxi -zv8 output, it stops after the Audio section so we can’t see your Network & Bluetooth info. Please edit your post to include the full output.

I had this happen on my laptop too, and disabling Bluetooth power saving in TLP fixed it for me. Updating the kernel also helped since some suspend/wakeup Bluetooth bugs seem pretty hardware-specific.

There are various reports on multiple distros with that chipset. You might try what worked for this user after boot:
