Bluetooth Headphone not showing up in Bluetooth manager

Hello,

I am trying to connect a pair of JBL Tuner 750 btnc to my HP Probook 6460b

The Bluetoothh device list shows my windows machine after a search but the headphones do not show up.
The Headphones are in pairing mode while the search runs.

The headphones also connect just fine to both, the Windows Laptop and an Android Phone.

Here is the output of lsusb

did an rfkill list too, just to see if a bluetooth entry would show up

I ran out of ideas.
Already tried reinstalling the Kernel,
Updated the whole system
reinstalled pulseaudio and pulseaudio-bluetooth

Anyone has an idea?

Is there a limitation in your headphones which limits the number of concurrent paired devices?

Not according to the Handbook that came with the device.

Is it a Bluetooth Low Energy device?

If yes, have a look here which uses the Logitech MX Master 2 as an example…

That’s all I can think of, except file a bug with the hardware manufacturer.

:sob:

@Sulumar, what if to reset JBL Tuner 750 btnc in terms of list of all paired devices before to be erased and to try to pair again from scratch? Handbook or hardware could be not in sync (you may have newer HW than older manual describes it OR you may have older HW than the updated newer manual describes it; also manual could contain error(s)).
