Good evening, I do have a somewhat similar issue.

System:
Kernel: 6.12.73-1-MANJARO arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 6.5.5 Distro: Manjaro Linux
Machine:
Type: Laptop System: HP product: HP EliteBook 830 G8 Notebook PC v: SBKPF

Mobo: HP model: 8AB3 v: KBC Version 56.19.00 serial: <superuser required>
Firmware: UEFI vendor: HP v: T39 Ver. 01.19.00 date: 11/19/2024
Audio:
Device-1: Intel Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Audio

Bluetooth:
Device-1: Intel AX201 Bluetooth driver: btusb type: USB
Report: btmgmt ID: hci0 state: up address: N/A
So that looks ok, I think:
pactl list cards short
47 alsa_card.pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-skl_hda_dsp_generic alsa
7405 alsa_card.usb-Alpha_Imaging_Tech._Corp._Razer_Kiyo-02 alsa
7494 alsa_card.usb-0b0e_Jabra_Link_380_50C275B4982F-00 alsa
8834 bluez_card.F4_4E_FD_09_42_4A module-bluez5-device.c
For me that also looks fine.
The entry in /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf is also there. Checked and for the sake of it restrted the service but
Except from the beep, when bluetooth box connects, no sound is played. No video in the browser (vivaldi), no music from Elisa, nothin’
What I could observe is that when I open up the Systemsettings->Audio, it is listed as an ‘Inactive card’
Help would be appreciated, as it was working before but just stopped doing so after an update a couple of weeks ago. Digged through the internet, try to find something, but without success.
THX!
