Bluetooth can no longer be enabled

After the recent Manjaro 4/10 update, Bluetooth is stuck on disabled. In Manjaro settings, it shows “enable” but the button doesn’t do anything. It’s embedded in my motherboard so I can’t physically reconnect it. I can toggle it via bluetooth on/off commands, but it makes no difference.

Kernel: 6.1.23-1-MANJARO
Mobo: ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING v4408
BIOS update: 10/27/2022

I’ve had this same issue happen very rarely on my Dell laptop. For some reason rebooting doesn’t help, but shutting down completely and powering back on on does. Hopefully that helps.

Just tried it, no luck.

Maybe have a look here and tell us what you tried:

Without installing any extra packages, I did see something that could be an indicator.

Output of systemctl restarting bluetooth.service:

Just like @Yochanan I sometimes have to shutdown up to 3-4 times before it works. Mine is also a Dell laptop.

I can see the same failures you posted. Would be nice to know why this happens and is this can be resolved.

Those messages are only informational. Certain plugins can’t be initialized unless the experimental D-Bus experimental interfaces are enabled. See Bluetooth - ArchWiki

I have Bluetooth again! Installed the newest update for my BIOS version 4602 dated 2023/03/14 and now everything is working.
