Blinking cursor at boot

After a reboot, I get a blinking cursor instead of the usual login screen. Prior reboot, I was troubleshooting bluez. However, I can drop to the shell.

I have a long history with troublesome nvidia graphic drivers ((see here). I need the non-free driver and Cuda working. Can you please help me to get GUI and drivers back in place?

Here is some basic information:

Adding errors from boot-log:

Kernel 6.2 is dead and your system hasn’t been updated for a long time. Do you have another kernel you can boot, like 6.1LTS?
If so, boot that, remove 6.2 and update your system.

And if you boot from a flash drive you could chroot from there, and have gui, and be able to copy paste normally in the forum. Because this with the screenshots is not very convenient…for us to read too.

I booted from 6.1.44-1 - and I am back in my GUI. Thank you.
Removed the old kernel. Updating though fails:

Could you please also provide a hint here?

That’s well over my head; you better wait for somebody who’s more knowledgeable than me.

ok. I will reboot and see what happens…
Thank you for your input. All good.

sudo pacman-mirrors -f && sudo pacman -Syu
