Blank screen when switching to TTY and at shutdown

I have a problem which manifests with blank screen on all my multiple monitors. The blank screen I get only when using multiple monitors and it occurrs at the following occasions:

  • when switching to TTY using alt+ctrl+Fn keys
  • at shutdown (I have “quiet” parameter removed; log messages show correctly when booting, but not at shutdown, there I have just blank screen on all monitors)
  • also shutdown has gotten extremely slow
  • screens are also blank when I give input after 5 minutes inactivity monitor turn-off time

I reinstalled the system (KDE Plasma 21.1.5) and the problem does not occurr on fresh installations.

Then I compared the files from broken and fresh installation and came to the discovery that the file:

~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc

is responsible for this.

Other than the difference in amount of configs I cannot detect any qualitative differences or specialties between the two. What could be the reason for problem?
