I rolled up manjaro for myself, only during installation I reinstall the view mode from the video card to the assembly in the BIOS and then I already installed it.
It will also boot with the built-in, there I installed the video-nvidia
driver and there was also the video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-470xx-prime
driver.
After I installed the nvidia video driver
, a black screen appeared.
Also with the video-nvidia-470xx driver
.
I don’t understand why this is happening at all.
My pc -
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060/
Intel(R) Core™ i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
can you share your kernel version. My guess is you need to do ibt=off. to successfully boot into the system.
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
just append ibt=off in GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
sudo update-grub
can you report
you can can boot on USB manjaro
open a terminal and a browser on this topic
inxi -Fza
sudo manjaro-chroot -a
mhwd-kernel -li
mhwd -li
exit (end of chroot )
have you tried older kernel like linux 515 LTS or linux 5.10 LTS ?
You have a hybrid system.
Unless you have disabled the intel card (such as in the BIOS), you will want to be using the hybrid driver profile.
Yes?
