Hi, I would like to know how best to install swift language on Manjaro.
I can’t find a relevant package with “pamac search swift”.
I have thought about using AUR or Docker, but I wanted to know a more Manjaro way of doing this.
Should I build the project from source?
If there is a demand, I’m happy to re-package and distribute it.
The swift package is in the AUR and is called swift . This package complies it form source. Which can take some time.
There is also a binary package in the AUR called swift-bin . This can be installed without a long compile. But you would need to trust the person that compiled the binary. (Which is in this case directly downloaded form swift.org )

You have to activate the AUR and that is indeed the Manjaro way of installing it:
