Belgian eID not working

The eID Viewer (eid-mw 5.0.28.1) is not working with ACS card readers that are in the list saying that they should work.
Can’t find out what is the issue here. It is important to have this working because most administration is run via this eID stuff (COVID certificates among others)

Is there an error? Does it fail to find the card reader? Does it fail to read the content of the card?

Edit: Nevermind. It works for me with the Sitecom All-in-One card reader.

Have you installed the Firefox / Edge / Chrome add-on in addition to the package?
Have you tried about-eid-mw ? And what’s the output regarding beidpkcss location and pcsc running?
