Battery percentage overlaps the battery icon

I cannot see if the battery is charging or not. I do not want to disable the percentage though. I want to see both, the status of charging and the percentage.

System details:
OS: Manjaro 21.0.5 Ornara
DE: KDE 5.82.0 / Plasma 5.21.5
Resolution: 1920x1080
WM Theme: Breeze
Theme: Breeze Light [Plasma], Breeze [GTK2/3]
Icons: breeze [Plasma], breeze [GTK2/3]

Does this also happen using the Breath2 theme?

• If no, file a bug with the breeze maintainer
• If yes, have you tried increasing your panel height?
  • If yes and that didn’t solve anything, file a bug with the KDE team.

Yep, happens with the Breath2 theme as well. Changing panel height does not help. Bug filed: 438316 – Battery percentage overlaps the battery icon thus preventing the visibility of charging status
