Since the latest update, bash does not seem to be inheriting environment vars set in ~/.pam_environment. This worked until now. The desktop has these set, and I can launch applications from the menu without trouble, but when I run bash the applications are not found, and the extra paths are missing from $PATH.
This is not a bash issue, but a PAM issue. I’m opening a new ticket for that.
