Bash Debugger with vscode

Does anyone use debugger for bash in VS Code/codium?

I try to get rogalmic.bash-debug plugin to work on vscodium.

The config in launch.json is set to:

{
      "type": "bashdb",
      "request": "launch",
      "name": "Bash-Debug",
      "program": "${file}",
      "showDebugOutput": true,
      "terminalKind": "integrated",
    }

but no matter what I do, I get this error:

 ~/.vscode-oss/extensions/rogalmic.bash-debug-0.3.9/bashdb_dir/command/source.sh: Zeile 41: /dev/stdin: Kein passendes Gerät bzw. keine passende Adresse gefunden

so in source.sh there is this:

source.sh
# -*- shell-script -*-
# gdb-like "source" command.

# Handle command-file source. If the filename's okay we just increase the
