Autologin problems

Hi,
I am trying to get auto login
I have followed this for PAM
Then uncomented autologin-user=leigh using sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
to give:

But now I still get the lightdm login (but now not needing password) and then I have to enter my password to unlock Keyring anyway in a pop-up afterwards

Can anyone help me achieve a smooth autologin please?

I was following the PAM section on

Enabling interactive passwordless login

when I should have been using the

Enabling autologin

wrt keyring there is a note:

Note: GNOME users, and by extension any gnome-keyring user will have to set up a blank password to their keyring for it to be unlocked automatically.

Should I do this or is it a no-no bad idea?
