As title says when i try and use the aur helper my build just hangs up and at the very and i get (end) the terminal just hangs and i have to force close it. Any of the progams I try and install dont get installed. Any ideas as to what would be causing this

### Note-s
**downloading packages from github with `git clone...` and install them with `makepkg -si` works **
I had the very same situation, and this was the answer for me:
Start the installation with paru -S <your_pkg>
After the download roll down till the (END)
Press Q
Select proceed with instalation Y/n
Should have installed
