Audio Volume - No output or input devices detected (laptop speaker not working)

My laptop is muted and I can’t raise volume through systray because the icon doesn’t detect my speaker.

I removed some orphaned packages and I think that’s what caused this to happen. What should I do?

ok I installed sof-firmware and it seems to work now. I will mark this as solved if I don’t run into any issues in the next few hours.
