Audio problems when streaming video and connecting to Discord

Hello, this is my first time posting, so please tell me if I’m missing something!

I’ve just installed Manjaro in the last few days onto my PC as a replacement to my current operating system, however I have noticed a rather annoying sound problem. When I connect to a voice channel in Discord, any audio currently playing (be it spotify, youtube, twitch, etc.) will stop until Discord finishes connecting (sometimes it doesn’t and gets stuck at RPC Connecting). I’ve tried other distro’s to see if its a kernel problem, however other distros don’t seem to have this same issue.

Please tell me if I’m missing something, or if there’s something I need to change.

Here are my specs for reference:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
MSI ARMOR RX580

Okay, did a little further research. Audio will completely hang until I either stop trying to connect in Discord, or if I pause the Twitch or YouTube for a moment, I can then use Discord and view a stream as much as I like until either program restarts.

Turns out that this was caused by having my USB microphone plugged into a USB hub, so yeah. That fixed it…
