do you test with kernel 5.12??
Sorry missed your message initially. Been away from stable internet since shortly after my first post, back with a good signal and just run a full update. Issue still there with the newest 5.12 version.
Havenāt yet tried 5.13 (currently updating my AUR packages) but I will try that tomorrow too.
This post just made me look and notice that 5,12 is the generic kernel I installed, was obviously not awake enough when selecting. Will also try the latest rt kernel it installed, 5.11-rt, but I donāt hold much hope for itā¦

(Deleted) Further testing showed the latest lqx kernel is just as bad. maybe I was too hasty, maybe the slight extra load of a real project made the difference. Back on 5.2-RT for good performance across the board.
EDIT: 5.13-RC5 still gives xruns on a near idle system (just audio or video playback.)
