The Prime X570-Pro (and all X570 mainboards) have no WMI interface. Instead, you will need to use the nct6775 kernel module:

sudo modprobe nct6775

Hopefully, the following might give some additional insight.

I dunno, I thought I had some vague memories of blacklisting this module for some reason or another … but maybe it would be helped by early loading of asus_wmi as mentioned in archwiki
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop/ASUS#Include_required_module_in_initramfs

EDIT for reply above…

This is asus_wmi_sensors which I dont think is the same as asus_wmi

No, it’s not; however that page does list some mainboards that apparently don’t have the WMI interface at all; the Asus X570 range being among them. I found several partially related posts in other forums that also hinted at this. However, this GitHub page was all I found that stated it definitively. All of those links given should be considered possibly related.

Will only applied for the current session will add it to the mkinitcpio.conf file for that and report back if the warning is gone.
The warning disappeared with nct6775 enabled.

# vim:set ft=sh
# MODULES
# The following modules are loaded before any boot hooks are
# run. Advanced users may wish to specify all system modules
# in this array. For instance:
# MODULES=(usbhid xhci_hcd)
MODULES=(amdgpu amd_pstate nct6775)

Well, the warning came up again when resumed from suspend. I don’t really care about it due it’s not causing any big issues. Maybe a condition issue.

blacklist asus_wmi_sensors

I did this blacklist asus_wmi which may haven’t changed anything.

Will try your suggestion later.

I’m reading lately of all kinds of things not working as expected after resuming from suspend. :man_shrugging:

I am using the LTS Kernel until the issue is solved on newer ones.
