Asus G14 (2022) overheats after waking up from sleep/hibernate

I recently bought an Asus g14 2022 has a AMD 5900HS CPU and a Radeon RX 6700S GPU. Works fine until I put it to sleep and wake up. After that the fans wont start and eventually it overheats and crashes. Here’s the sensors output

Not sure how to solve this. Or even how to start.

suggest run gsmartcontrol to check your hd

Just to clarify. The overheat comes from the CPU/GPU. it gets very hot. And this is only after I wake up the laptop from sleep/hibernate. I don’t have the problem if is a regular power up.

Might be a tlp issue. Disable or uninstall tlp as a test, see if behaviour persist.

I actually don’t have it installed.

I installed gsmartcontrol and it says “No additional information is available for this device” I can go and see the output and says this

SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED

Hi, I’m buying exactly same laptop. Did you figure out your problem?

Yes. Just got fix with the latest kernel 6.1. As long as you use the 6.1 kernel or above you should be fine.
