Guessing you tried the meson-g12b-gtking-pro.dtb?

Yes, using ā€œmeson-g12b-gtking-pro.dtbā€.

My PinePhonePro also got a Plasma-mobile 6.2.4! Thanks.

Good:
CPU load of the plasma-shell is reduced from 6.2.3.

Bad:
After switching to external monitor, Quick Setting drawer not displayed with swipe down. (even though returns back to internal screen). So I backed to plasma-mobile 6.2.3. (Other packages remain 6.2.4).

Opi5-Plus KDE-Edition Unstable Branch upgraded successfully to KDE-Plasma-6.2.4-1.

Hi @nl.smart, Just checking whether your Odroid N2 KDE Edition feels a bit less responsive compare to Gnome Edition?

On my GT King Pro KDE Plasma it feels a bit slower than on Gnome. It has been like these for past few months since upgrading from KDE Plasma 5.27 to KDE Plasma 6.0 to now KDE Plasma-6.2

It could be some settings that was made on GT King Pro KDE Plasma settings.

No issue with Opi5-Plus KDE Plasma Edition.

Hi,

I’ll give you my feedback about the N2 Plasma as soon as possible.
The device run with an emmc module, not a sd card.
By default I disable all the possible Desktop Effects with the System Settings.
File search and Plasma Search are disable.

Edit 1 : 2024.12.05 unstable update success, thanks to the dev. Enjoy !

@nl.smart Do you also have an error message from Pacman when you update?

Error: restricting filesystem access failed because landlock is not supported by the kernel!

my old config with linux-odroid 6.4.3

zcat /proc/config.gz | grep -i landlock

#CONFIG_SECURITY_LANDLOCK is not set

zcat /proc/config.gz | grep -i CONFIG_LSM=

CONFIG_LSM="lockdown,yama,loadpin,safesetid,integrity,selinux,smack,tomoyo,apparmor"

The message disappears if you build a new kernel with the following settings…

linux-odroid 6.12.0
zcat /proc/config.gz | grep -i landlock

CONFIG_SECURITY_LANDLOCK=y
CONFIG_LSM="landlock,lockdown,yama,loadpin,safesetid,integrity,selinux,smack,tomoyo,apparmor,bpf"
Host: Hardkernel ODROID-C2
Kernel: Linux 6.12.0-1-MANJARO-ARM-ODROID
Linux manjaroc2arm 6.12.0-1-MANJARO-ARM-ODROID #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jan  8 19:29:13 CET 2025 aarch64 GNU/Linux

@Manjaro-Arm How can I submit commits or merges to gitlab? I can’t seem to do it :frowning:

good night

Hi,

Nice to read you, thanks for your message.
I wish you all the best for 2025, and all this message reader :female_sign: :male_sign: !

My last post is about the Odroid c4 runing with kernel 6.9.3, but the Odroid c2 is actually running with the kernel 6.4.3

I Don’t know how to build && install a new kernel…
No problem to help you and give to the devs a feedback :slight_smile:

One can run use pacman with --disable-sandbox to get around the error.
