The update went smoothly however
The mouse pointer has become erratic, tending to overshoot even with acceleration
slowed and any mouse movement now freezes video in vlc.
smplayer also now fails:
Cannot load libcuda.so.1
[vaapi] libva: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null)
Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_vc4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
