SInce yesterday ArcMenu will not start. I get the message that /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/arcmenu@arcmenu.com/schemas/gschemas.compiled is not available to open. And indeed this file is mssing. I have tried to reinstall ArcMenu , but this didn’t solve the issue. Any ideas?
To answer my own question: It works now again by following roughly the tip on GLib.FileError: Failed to open file “/usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/dash-to-dock@micxgx.gmail.com/schemas/gschemas.compiled”: open() failed: No such file or directory · Issue #1484 · micheleg/dash-to-dock · GitHub. I removed instead of the directory in the comment, the directory for ArcMenu, reinstalled the extension, logoff and logon again. A simple restart didn’t work in this case. Issue solved for me.
