It looks that i closed my archlinux keyring issue topic to soon…
Now i have this issue on my Laptop and also on my PC… the last stable also showed this problem on my Laptop instead only the PC.

It works on arch. No idea why it exits with error on manjaro. (same archlinux-keyring 20221110-1)

Perhaps different wkd server?
Anyway, it doesn’t matter. It finishes doing what it’s supposed to do. It just exits with error at the end.
From my very poor understanding of sed and whatever language that script is written in, I’d think that it doesn’t not fix the underlying issue but returns success.
No, forget that. It does the same as a patch in new archlinux-keyring (linked below). I wrote it because I thought there wouldn’t be a new stable update for a while (and for fun, to remind myself how to do something in sed, for the nth time).
Now failed service isn’t the same as before. Before, refreshing stopped when an error was encountered. Now it goes to the end and then returns error. So job done.

Is it something to worry about, especially because of this:
Almost two years later and this service is still spamming the journal. I have maintained my Manjaro systems with the latest updates (pacman -Syu) for several years and never had an issue with keys. Of course the response will be, “just ignore the errors”, but this is a lame excuse for poor software engineering. Any error logged to the system journal should only be the result of a true error that should not be ignored (unless you are trying to turn Linux into Windows which I would not recommend).
For anyone still trying to resolve this, note that pacman-keys --delete should be pacman-key --delete and I would recommend modifying the /usr/bin/archlinux-keyring-wkd-sync script to capture any errors in a log file and return a 0 exit code unless the number of errors exceeds a given threshold. I have found a threshold of 3 is fine.
