Archer T3U 1300 Mini Wireless adapter --FIXED

Today I got this new wireless adapter:

Archer T3U
AC1300 Mini Wireless MU-MIMO USB Adapter

Of course i faced some issues installing it

Here are the steps i followed in case someone runs through the same problem as I did.

Manjaro kernel 5.8.6-1-MANJARO
KDE plasma

first you need to install the following package from the AUR:

  • Search for rtl8822bu in your add-remove software app
  • install the one under rtl8822bu-git v: r59.fd24afa-1
  • choose the headers that corresponds with your current running kernel, mine was 58 since my kernel was 5.8.6-1
  • You can find your kernel version by running the command uname -r
  • After it installs and builds you will need to unplug/ and re-plug the adapter and that should be it!!
