When I try to launch apps like Steam, SuperTuxKart and Minetest, the apps just show up as a black box. But if I launch the apps through the terminal, everything works fine 
Has anyone encountered this issue before, and does anyone know how to resolve it? Check my profile for my config, and I’ll do my best to answer any questions you might have 
You probably have to change your NVIDIA drivers, as the solution from a few days ago suggests:
steam-window-is-black-only-when-launched-via-application-menu-nvidia-495-46-driver
