Applications show up on all Activities

Hello everybody,

i noticed today that all my application windows show up on all my Activites by default. I also can’t assign a window to just one activity, the default back to “All Activities”

I can’t exactly say when this started to happen, but i guess it worked correctly last week. With correctly i mean, Application Windows only show up on the Activity that i started them from, or when i explicitly say, that i want to see them on all Activities.

I searched through the system settings, but neither the “Workplace Behaviour” nor the “Window Managment”-Setting have been helpful. I also searched for “activities” in the settings search, but it wasn’t helpful neither.

I hope someone has a clue what’s going on. The Activity Switch was really useful to me, when working from home and switching between work related and private windows.

Thank you in advance for all the help.

I would assume it’s the same bug as I’m seeing for regular Virtual Desktops. I have now since the 5.23 update had to go in and reset 5 different programs to only open on the desktop I had them assigned to instead of all desktops.

To my surprise, this is an issue i don’t have. It assigns windows only to the desktop i opened it on / the desktops i assign it to.

Doesn’t seem to affect all programs. Betting your issue and mine are related.

Okay, weird, but… it works again, at least right now. I don’t remember any incoming update or anything, and can’t remember anything else that has changed on my system, except for installing some unrelated programs.

But hey, there’s that…
