Application menu incorrect width

Since a few months I noticed that the width of my application menu is not correct, and the submenu subsequently looks like it’s floating.

It looks like it’s getting the width from the top entry (Recente programma’s aka recent applications). It should getting it’s width from the largest entry.

As you can see longer menu items are cut off, the arrows are missing and the search is also cut off. I can of course manually drag the menu to the right to correct the size and it will remember that for the session. Obviously it should look like the image below when opened. Any idea how to correct this?

It happens with all themes. I already tried to remove and add the menu from the taskbar.

I have KDE plasma 6.2.4

Mets key + mouse rightclick and dragresizes the menu. You can try that.

Sorry for terse message - on phone here.

Do you have any custom rules in System SettingsWindow ManagementWindow Rules? If so, try removing those.

I had a similar issue some time back. Doing so cured all sorts of oddities with dialogues being the wrong size and in the wrong position.

It could be an issue with the theme you are using.

Does the issue persist if you switch to one of the default global themes?
